Nicola Dinapoli is a radiation oncologist with a strong clinical focus, primarily dedicated to the treatment of brain tumors, soft tissue sarcomas, hematologic malignancies and rare cancers. His work is grounded in the integration of cutting-edge technology with scientific rigor, with a particular emphasis on advanced irradiation techniques such as stereotactic radiotherapy, intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT-VMAT), and online adaptive treatment strategies.

Nicola Dinapoli has a keen interest in the applications of radiotherapy imaging, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and treatment planning, with focus to adaptative radiotherapy, as well as in the potential of artificial intelligence to support personalized cancer care. He has a multidisciplinary background with expertise in advanced computer programming, statistics, and modeling, particularly applied to the development of applications aimed at supporting clinical practice.

Since 2011, Nicola Dinapoli has been a member of the ESTRO faculty, serving as teacher for the “Advanced Treatment Planning” course, contributing to the international education of professionals in the field of advanced radiotherapy planning. He is strongly committed to continuous education, inter-institutional collaboration, and knowledge sharing as essential drivers of progress in oncologic medicine.
